We all know that when we exercise, our bodies release endorphins, which triggers a little positive mindset boost - something we all need during isolation.

We've teamed up with some local fitness babes and will be releasing a series of home-workout videos, over the course of the national lockdown.

AB AND CORE WORKOUT


A quick 10-minute ab and core home-workout with Nomvula Khuzwayo. All you need is some water to sip on, a yoga or gym mat and some tissues.

Workout | 3 Sets

10x mountain climbers
10x knee to elbow plank
10x ankle claps
10x double knee pull ups
10x leg scissors
10x Russian twists
10x side planks
10x hip raiders


FULL-BODY WORKOUT


Enjoy Caley Jäck's full-body simple structure cardio kicker workout, that only requires a basic yoga mat, water to sip on and a sweat towel! 

Workout | 3-5 Sets

10x Squat jack into jump jack
10x Inch worm push-up combo 
10x Double pulse lunge
10x Plank with tricep lift 
10x Double pulse c-crunch


FLOW WORKOUT


Caley Jäck put together a flow workout that focuses on mobility and flexibility! Move through these 5 sequences slowly and use big deep breaths.

Workout | 5 Sequences

10x Plank to Hindu squat, lengthening into hamstring stretch
10x Hip bridge with single leg adductor, stretching into lying spinal twist (5 per side)
10x Lying spinal twist with arm extension (5 per side)
10x Back stepping lunge into cossack lunge with arms over head (5 per side)
10x Kneeling quad stretch with torso rotation (5 per side)
