Capegate Braai Challenge 2025

It's that time of the year again!

The 2025 Braai challenge contestants will engage in a trio of rounds during which their braai expertise will be put to the test in the quest for the supreme braai master. Bertus Basson will be the guest judge and oversee all three rounds.

Round 1: The Ultimate Boerewors Roll
Contestants will be challenged to put their twist on the classic Boerewors Roll.

Round 2: The Perfect Steak
Contestants will face the task of cooking a steak to absolute perfection.

Round 3: It's showtime!
Three finalists will be chosen, and they will have the chance to impress the palates and appetites of our panel of judges, securing the prestigious title of CG Braai Challenge 2025 victor.

The winner will walk away with prizes to the value of R 30 000 which includes a 2-night stay at Kol Kol Mountain lodge, R5000 Capegate Gift card and fantastic prizes from Checkers, Montagu Fruits & Nuts, Rocomamas, Bootlegger Coffee Company, Bargain Books, Xpresso, Mystical Printing and more.
