CAPEGATE LAUNCHES NEW PARKING EQUIPMENT

20 JUNE 2019

Capegate Shopping Centre is proud to announce the upgrade of their undercover parking equipment and parking pay stations.

Nicholas Oliphant, Capegate GM, says “we are extremely excited to upgrade our parking equipment and totally replace our pay stations so that we can deliver a better customer experience for shoppers that visit our centre”.

The new machines will have an extremely modern look and allow customers to pay in five different ways, namely; notes (in any denomination), debit / credit card, coins, tap and go as well as by discount coupon.

Frequent shoppers and pensioners can also apply for a long-term parking card, which will allow you to park undercover and leave after shopping without having to pop in at the pay station first.

Capegate offers 1300 under cover parking bays on three levels. They can be accessed from Tanner Road (opposite Capegate Mediclinic) and Marlborough street (opposite Builders Warehouse).

The equipment is scheduled to be fully operational by 24 June. For more information and tariffs, please visit www.capegatecentre.co.za or the Capegate Facebook page.

CAPEGATE INSTALLS TEMPORARY STAIRCASE

4 MARCH 2019

To help with the traffic between the upper and lower level while our food court escalators are being revamped, we have erected a temporary staircase.

The staircase is located just outside of House & Home, which easily allows you to access the upper level.

Feel free to make use of the staircase, but please assist all children when on the staircase and hold onto the side rails.

The food court lifts are in working condition.

CAPEGATE UPGRADES ESCALATORS

29 JANUARY 2019

We are excited to share the news that we will start to install a new escalator in the food court as from 28 January. This is a massive undertaking that will take some time to complete, but will ensure less down time and a better customer experience once finished.

The areas that will be affected include the lower level parking at entrance 6, lower level (centre court) and upper level (food court). However, you will still be able to use the glass lift right to access all levels.

You will also still be able to access the following stores in the walkways adjacent to the escalator revamp as per normal. Further updates to follow.
