WCBS | World Blood Donor Day

In celebration of World Blood Donor Day, the Western Cape Blood Service is bringing communities together across the province with a shared goal: to collect 1,000 units of blood in a single day while celebrating the remarkable donors who help save lives every day. Through this campaign, WCBS aims to raise awareness of the ongoing need for blood, inspire new donors to join our lifesaving community, and ensure patients across the Western Cape continue to receive the blood products they need.

We invite all eligible donors to be part of this province-wide effort on Saturday, 13 June, and help prove how one act of generosity can make a lasting difference.

CapeGate shoppers are welcome to donate blood at the Blood Donation Centre in CapeGate Shopping Centre (at entrance 3), from 09:00 to 15:00.
